Business Technology

The business technology program provides students with classroom and "hands-on" training in many aspects of today's business operations. The emphasis is on training in financial services and risk management. The junior year program studies accounting and financial management using traditional methods and the senior year program employs automated or computerized methods. In addition, senior students get a chance to run a "virtual company" simulating all aspects operating a real-world business.

What will you study?
Some of the unit studied in business technology are:
Economic and Business Principles, Small Business Management, Technical Documentation, Business Law, Computer Concepts and Applications, Banking Basics, General Accounting Functions, Basic Marketing Principles, Financial Management Functions, E-Commerce, Professional and Ethical Standards, and Customer Relations.
